The 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards was filled with exciting performances from famous singers such as Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak this year. Held in Dolby Theatre at Los Angeles, California, this year's music ceremony was hosted by singer Usher.

New York Post reported that the eighth annual iHeartRadio Music Awards will be a star-studded event to celebrate the most played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations as well as their app in 2020. The event also highlighted the performances of Ariana Grande, Doja Cat, and Usher, who also hosted the event.

2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards: Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak Sings "Leave the Door Open

Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak made the hearts of the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards audience, as the two collaborated for a live rendition of the song "Leave The Door Open." Pitchfork reported that the singers performed as Silk Sonic in the event made the audience swoon in their wonderful voices.

ET Online dubbed the singers as a "dream team of soul and funk super-talent," as Bruno Mars played the piano in their performance and .Paak crooned while singing to the audience. The Silk Sonic invited the audience to sing along with them as they sing the hit song in their blue velvet blazers.

When the chorus of the song came, the crowd sang along with the singers and matched their harmonies. It can be remembered that the song "Leave the Door Open" was released in March. Meanwhile, Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak debuted as Silk Sonic in the 2021 Grammy Awards.

2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards: Other Performances

Apart from Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards also featured other singers, including Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, The Weeknd, and Doja Cat energized the live audience in the event.

The big night was opened by a stellar performance of The Weeknd with his hit song "Save Your Tears." The blinding lights singer was soon joined by Ariana Grande wearing her stunning purple gown. ET Online reported that the performance marks Grande's first performance after rumors of her getting married to Dalton Gomes broke out earlier this month.

Doja Cat also performed in the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards with a medley of her songs "Say So," "Streets," and "Kiss Me More." Cat's performance Was staged in a cornfield with gray aliens as backup dancers.

Apart from hosting the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Usher performed a medley of his hit songs including "Confessions: Part I," "DJ Got Us Falling In Love," and "U Don't have to Call." The singer sealed his performance with his hit song "Yeah." Moreover, Usher announced that he and his girlfriend are expecting their second child.

The 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards also featured a tribute to Elton John. Demi Lovato, H.E.R., and Brandie Carlile were brought together for a medley of some of Elton John's hit songs. The 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards was broadcasted live on Fox and was heard on iHeartRadio radio stations nationwide and the iHeartRadio app.
