The Chicago Bulls are planning to make a big splash this offseason -- reports indicate that the team is willing to move any players on their roster aside from Derrick Rose to acquire a big-name superstar this summer.

Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times reported on Monday that Bulls executives are open to dealing all players aside from Rose, which means that key players like Joakim Noah, Taj Gibson, and Jimmy Butler could be moved this offseason if the opportunity arises to get a superstar.

"According to several NBA sources Sunday, the Bulls have been actively looking to improve the starting lineup at almost any cost, with Derrick Rose the only untouchable player -- and not by choice," Cowley wrote.

Sources indicated that the Bulls will take all necessary measures to have a good shot at acquiring Carmelo Anthony or Kevin Love, who are expected to be moved this summer. Miami Heat superstar LeBron James, who could also become a free agent this summer, is also on the Bulls' radar.

Cowley revealed that Anthony is still on top of the Bulls' priority this summer, but they have been making significant efforts to convince the Timberwolves to trade Love, while also preparing themselves in case James decides to bolt out of Miami this offseason.

"Carmelo Anthony is still Plan A as the Bulls and the rest of the NBA await to see if the Knicks forward will opt out of his contract. But the Bulls are more active in their pursuit of Kevin Love than initially rumored. Also, don't rule out LeBron James coming into play again if the four-time MVP opts out of his deal," Cowley wrote.

Anthony, who averaged 27.4 points to go along with 8.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists this season, is expected to formally announce his decision to test the free agency market next week.

On the other hand, the Minnesota Timberwolves are remaining firm in their stance that they will not trade Love this offseason, but most analysts are convinced that the Wolves are just waiting for the right offer to come.

James, meanwhile, has yet to give a clue about his plans this summer, but the four-time Most Valuable Player recently insisted that the Miami Heat's loss to the San Antonio Spurs in the 2014 NBA Finals won't affect his decision.
