In collaboration with the legendary bachata group Aventura, reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny has dropped his new single, "Volví," on Monday at midnight.

The music video premiered on the YouTube channel of Aventura's frontman, Rome Santos, which boasts 17.5 million subscribers. Forty-three minutes after the song's premiere, Volví gathered at least 470,783 views on the said YouTube channel.

The Rolling Stone reported that Bad Bunny was not new to bachata, as the reggaeton singer played the sound on his track entitled "La Romana," which featured El Alfa from his album in 2018 called "X100Pre."

Bad Bunny Announces Collaboration With Bachata Group Aventura

The stars announced the release of their new single and collaboration on social media without dropping the song's title, making their fans excited.

In his Instagram post, Bad Bunny posted a slideshow of photos featuring some snaps of him and the Aventura members.

Apart from a supposed album art of their collaboration, Bad Bunny also posted some photos of the band and him together, which is likely taken from filming the single's music video, Hola reported.

Bad Bunny also included a photo of him jamming with Romeo, Lenny, Henry, and Max Santos, holding guitars and surrounded by a crowd.

The reggaeton star captioned his post with "today at midnight," dropping hints that his new song would be available by that time.

Apart from Bad Bunny, Aventura's Romeo Santos also took to Instagram to tease their fans about their new collaboration with the reggaeton superstar.

Santos posted the supposed album cover of their new single with the caption "To end this cycle of Aventura in a memorable way."

Santos also included a rabbit emoji and crowns, tagged Bad Bunny, and used the name of the single as his hashtag. Aventura also took to Twitter to announce the release of the new song to their fans.

Bad Bunny was a fan of the Dominican American bachata group. The reggaeton singer reportedly took a selfie with them in 2019.

The Puerto Rican artist later posted the selfie and joked with his fans to guess who was in the photo, and he would give tickets to his concert for those who got it right.

Aventura's Final Show

Bad Bunny and Aventura's collaboration came as the Dominican American bachata group gears up for their highly anticipated final tour as a group, Remezcla reported.

The said show would begin in Miami's Hard Rock Stadium on August 14. It will continue until October, with appearances in several cities in the U.S., such as Los Angeles, New Jersey, and Chicago.

Aventura is well known for traversing different kinds of genres from R&B and reggaeton. It can be recalled that the Dominican American bachata group reunited in 2020 after the group was on year-long hiatus. Upon their comeback, they launched their "Inmortal Tour," which was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic.
