Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is one of the NBA's highest-paid players of all time. Aside from his superb skills in the court, which earned him a high salary, he also snatched lucrative endorsement deals with Nike, Walmart, and other top brands.

According to Forbes, James has earned more than $1 billion during his 18-year career. He also earned more than $600 million in off-the-court earnings. However, that does not make him a billionaire because of his taxes, spending, and investment returns.

James was known to have skipped college and was drafted as the top pick by his hometown team, Cleveland Cavaliers, during the 2003 NBA draft.

He played for Cavs from 2003 to 2010 and brought his talents to Miami, where he played for the Heat from 2010 to 2010. During his stay with the Heat, he earned the team two NBA championships in 2012 and 2013.

LeBron James returned to Cleveland and played from 2014 and 2018, winning them a championship in 2016 before moving to Los Angeles Lakers, wherein they won a championship in 2020.
