Pete Davidson has mentioned Kanye West and Ariana Grande in his hilarious and final segment on "SNL" on Saturday. According to CNN, Davidson reflected on his SNL journey while on "Weekend Update."

"Hello Colin, Che, and millions of people only watching to see if I bring up Kanye [West]," Davidson said as he opened the segment.

The "Donda" rapper and the comedian have been engaged in an ongoing feud since Davidson started dating West's ex, Kim Kardashian.

Davidson also took the opportunity to thank SNL creator Lorne Michaels, who always gave him the "best" advice, including about his engagement to singer Ariana Grande.

The comedian noted that Michaels told him to "hold on for dear life" after mentioning that he was engaged to Grande after dating for two weeks.

Davidson also recalled when he was just starting on the comedy show, claiming that he was a skinny kid with no idea of his race back then.

The comedian said everyone now knows he is White because he became successful "while barely showing up to work." Davidson thanked the show for always supporting him and allowing him "to work on myself and grow" over the past eight years.

"Thank you to Lorne for never giving up on me or judging me even when everyone else was... and for believing me and allowing me to have a place I could call home with the memories that will last a lifetime," Davidson noted.

Aside from Pete Davidson, SNL cast members Aidy Bryant, Kyle Mooney, and Kate McKinnon also said goodbye in the season 47 finale.

Pete Davidson Pens Heartfelt Message on IG Before SNL Final Appearance

Pete Davidson also penned a heartfelt farewell message on Instagram before appearing and wrapping up his appearance on the SNL. Dave Sirus shared the said message on his Instagram account.

The heartfelt message was paired with a video, which according to the comedian, made him emotional when it was sent to him. Davidson said the video showed what happened after his first sketch with SNL and that it was "crazy" that he was about to do his last one.

Davidson further noted that during that time, he was a stand-up comedian and had no idea of what he was doing.

"I figured since I'm a stand up I'll just try my stand up and personal bits on Weekend Update as myself and I'm so glad I did," Davidson said.

The comedian noted that he owed Lorne Michaels and everyone at SNL his life. Davidson also expressed his gratitude to his fans for always having his back and sticking up for him even though that was "not the popular opinion."

Pete Davidson concluded his message by saying that he was happy and sad about his SNL's last appearance and that he could not wait to be back in a Mulaney musical number.
