Kim Kardashian's dream of attending Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee celebrations with her boyfriend, Pete Davidson, has been dashed by the Buckingham Palace.

Despite her best efforts, Buckingham Palace has reportedly rejected her pleas to attend the Platinum Jubilee party at the Palace on Saturday.

According to Daily Mail, representatives for the 41-year-old reality star asked for tickets. However, officials at Buckingham Palace and publicists at the BBC, which will broadcast the show, reportedly turned the Hollywood couple down.

A source told Daily Mail that Kim was determined to attend the Platinum Jubilee party, so she tried to procure tickets by other means and has even said she does not mind if the tickets were "not VIP."

Sources told the outlet that the SKIMS founder rarely gets turned down to attend any event, making Buckingham Palace's rejection "quite surprising."

They added that Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson love the Royal Family and "really wanted to be part of this special celebration." Queen, Nile Rodgers, and Diana Ross will perform at the event.

David Beckham and David Attenborough will also make appearances. Members of the Royal Family are also expected to attend on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II, who will be watching on TV from Windsor Castle.

The 96-year-old queen will miss a national service of thanksgiving at St. Paul's Cathedral in London on Friday after she experienced "discomfort" on Thursday.

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson in London

Kim Kardashian arrived in London with her boyfriend Pete Davidson early this week. According to Harper's Bazaar, the couple was spotted walking around the city holding hands on Monday.

The fashion mogul and the SNL star were also seen enjoying a low-key date at The River Café later that night. Kim and Pete's date in London came days after the comedian had his last performance on SNL.

On Tuesday, the pair went jewelry shopping in London's Mayfair. Kim and Pete walked hand-in-hand in Dover Street Market before stepping into Comme des Garçons Jewellery.

Kim was then seen browsing various items on display with the help of a shop assistant. The reality star showcased her famous curves and derriere in metallic gold leggings, which she partnered with a cream Balenciaga zip-up hoody.

It's unclear if the Platinum Jubilee celebrations were among the reasons for the couple's trip to the U.K. A source told Us Weekly that Pete Davidson is now in London for work.

The source added that the 28-year-old comedian will be going to Australia for the movie "Wizards!" in a few months, and he really wanted to hang with Kim Kardashian "as much as possible before then."

Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee

Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday made two appearances on the Buckingham Palace balcony, wearing light blue with her gloved hands resting on a cane, as she watched a military parade.

The palace later announced that the Queen "greatly enjoyed" the parade, which kicked off the celebrations for Queen Elizabeth's 70th year on the throne. However, she did "experience some discomfort," according to Washington Post.

The royal family members joined the Queen on the palace balcony. However, Prince Andrew, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle were not seen. The Sussex couple were only spotted behind the scenes, while the palace announced that Prince Andrew had tested positive for COVID-19.

Across the British Isles, 3,200 beacons were lit to mark Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. Bruno Peek, the pageant master for the jubilee beacons, told the Washington Post that the Queen has become their beacon, "unfailing in her service," so they wished to show her their appreciation.

Kicking off the four-day festivities was the Queen's Birthday Parade. The 260-year-old tradition, also known as Trooping the Color, features 1,400 soldiers in scarlet tunics and bearskin caps marching in precision drills while bands mounted on horses pounded on kettle drums and blew trumpets.

There was also an 82-gun salute at the end of the parade and a "flypast" by the Royal Air Force, featuring 70 fighter planes and helicopters roaring overhead, with some flying in formation to spell the number "70."
