The Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck wedding happened in Las Vegas over the weekend, culminating a relationship that stretched for more than two decades.

According to Associated Press, the Latina pop diva confirmed their nuptials on her website and newsletter, "On the JLo," on Sunday. Lopez said she gave her "yes" to Affleck in a late-night Las Vegas drive-through chapel on Saturday.

"We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient," Lopez noted. In the newsletter, the actress-singer noted that they flew to Las Vegas earlier that day and waited in line for their license along with four other couples.

The "Ain't Your Mama" singer then went on to say that she and Affleck wed just after midnight at A Little White Wedding Chapel, which boasted a drive-through "tunnel of love."

Lopez also shared that they wanted Elvis Presley to officiate their wedding, but he was unavailable. However, that did not stop them from exchanging their vows. The Latina pop diva noted that a Bluetooth speaker played their brief march down the aisle.

The singer shared multiple photos and videos of their wedding on her website. It included a photo in front of their witnesses, who appeared to be their respective kids. Lopez also showed a photo of them both dressed in white.

"Stick around long enough and maybe you'll find the best moment of your life in a drive through in Las Vegas at 12:30 in the morning in the tunnel of love drive through, with your kids and the one you'll spend forever with. Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things-and worth waiting for," Lopez concluded in her message signed Jennifer Lynn Affleck.

According to court records obtained by TMZ, Lopez and Affleck got a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada, which was in their legal ones - Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lynn Lopez.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's Engagement

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got engaged on April 8. Lopez announced the big news through a video posted on her official website. The Latina superstar shared a video of herself crying and looking at her engagement ring.

The video started with a black screen and then a view of her emerald and diamond sparkler before the camera moved up to her face. Lopez was wiping away tears of joy as she stared at her ring.

Lopez's engagement ring was 8.5 carats with a natural green diamond center stone. Platinum Guild International USA president Jenny Luker told Us Weekly that the stone in the singer's engagement ring costs around $10 million.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's Romance Continuation

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reunited in May last year, 17 years after their failed engagement. They went Instagram official with their relationship in July while on vacation in Europe for her 52nd birthday.

The two initially met on the set of "Gigli" in 2002, where they played gangsters who fall in love. The film flopped at the box office, with critics claiming that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez lacked chemistry.

But off-screen, it was a different story. Lopez divorced her second husband, Cris Judd, in June 2002, and soon after, she went public with the "Good Will Hunting" star.

By November, the "On The Floor" singer had a new ring on her finger. Affleck proposed with a six-carat pink diamond ring that had tiny white diamonds on the sides, and it caught plenty of media attention.

They would not specify when they fell in love, but Lopez only said they became friends first. Their wedding was initially scheduled for September 2003, but just days before they said "I do," Bennifer called off the ceremony due to "excessive media attention."

They remained together until January 2004, when they announced their official breakup. Lopez married singer-songwriter Marc Anthony months after, while Affleck also moved on with Jennifer Garner that year.

Jennifer Lopez believed the media attention majorly impacted the relationship. JLo also thought that "different time, different thing" contributed to the breakup, but she told PeopleTV's The Jess Cagle Interview in 2016 that "there was a genuine love" between them.
