Months after the infamous Oscar slap that made Will Smith and Chris Rock hit the headlines, the comedian is not yet willing to forgive and let go of what has happened.

On Monday, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Chris Rock is not yet ready to settle his beef with the "King Richard Star" even though Smith has posted a video apologizing to the comedian.

"Chris has no plans to reach out to Will... He needs the public's forgiveness, not Chris'," the source underscored.

Rock has also personally shown no interest in ironing out his beef with Smith, as he immediately made comments hours after Smith released his recent apology video.

Rock claimed, while on the stage of Fox Theatre in Atlanta, that "everybody is trying to be a f***ing victim," per People.

The comedian added that the real victims will not be heard if everyone claims to be one. He also called Will "Suge Smith," playing the name of the currently jailed Death Row Record CEO, Suge Knight.

Rock also contended that anyone who claimed that words hurt have not experienced being punched in the face.

Will Smith Offers Apology to Chris Rock Over a Video

Last week, Will Smith once again addressed the infamous Oscar slap when he apologized to Chris Rock for what he did.

Smith claimed at the start of the posted video that he had a lot of thinking over the last few months.

The "King Ricard" star then answered some of the questions asked by the public. Smith explained that he was not able to apologize to Rock during his acceptance speech because he was "fogged out" at that moment and that it was all "fuzzy."

He then apologized to the comedian for what he did, claiming that he reached out to the comedian, but the reply he got was that Rock was not yet ready to talk.

Smith then offered his apology to Rock, claiming that he is available whenever the comedian is ready to talk to him.

Smith also went on to apologize to Rock's mom, contending that he did not realize how many people got hurt after he slapped the comedian. He also apologized to Rock's family, especially his brother Tony Rock, who starred in the 2007 "All of Us," which was created by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith.

"Jada had nothing to do with it," Smith underscored.

The five minutes and 44-second video was posted on both Smith's Instagram and YouTube accounts. The said apology video gathered over three million views since it was uploaded on the video-sharing platform.
