The Song:

This pulsating and uplifting club track pays homage to all the Italo Disco and Synth Pop-influenced music that's been hot off the racks over the past few years.

The lead synth and deep electronic bass line carry the vocals on a journey toward a drop that aims to fulfil every need of the 80's style enthusiasts. Singer, and one-half of PrYmary Colours, Cayisha, talks over the track, telling us about her life experiences, growing up as a person of colour in Ireland.

The recount reflects on some challenging and grounding experiences, that shape her in becoming the person she is today. This is an intense recount, but it gives an honest perspective of this woman's tribulations and triumphs.

The Video:

The song accompanies a music video, that tells us of a girl's journey in school. The patriarchal teacher is determined to keep her in her place but is gradually unravelled by the guts of the daring child, alongside the presence of a fairy drag mother.

The video aims to promote the divine and matriarchal feminine energy by teaching the teacher that there are more ways than the old ways.

The Party:

PrYmary Colours hosted a celebration of love and music entitled "Love Ball" which was also an "Im Here Now" pre-launch last October 1.
