After the divorce between Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and Brazilian supermodel, Gisele Bündchen was finalized, more details about their marriage have surfaced. According to sources close to the couple, the trouble in their marriage may have gone on longer than what outsiders knew.

Yahoo! News reported that Gisele had been living her own, independent life without Tom Brady for years now. A source told them that while she was devastated by the divorce, and another said that she is still upset over it, sources are saying that she will be "just fine" on her own.

An insider stated, "Gisele is dealing with issues that have been plaguing her for a long time," and that the split was hard at first, but with enough time, she is settling in.

Gisele Bündchen Still Has Her Children as Her Main Priority

The source also said that while the Brazilian model has "lived her own life" while Brady was out playing football, she still has her "main focus and priority" on her children with Brady–son Benjamin Rein, 12, and daughter Vivian Lake, 9.

The source stated that the former Victoria's Secret Angel "radiates happiness" whenever her children are around. The source also stated that both children will be with both parents and added that both Benjamin and Vivian "should come out of this in good shape."

Without Tom, the Brazilian supermodel has had an increase in projects and she has also hinted at adding more. The source even added that she "is also eager to continue with her own career and interests."

There have also been hints that Gisele had been planning to divorce Brady for years. Before their marital troubles even became public, Gisele bought a modest three-bedroom, three-bathroom home near Miami Beach for herself, according to the New York Post.

The home was bought on February 28 for $1.25 million via an LLC. It was pegged as an Art Deco-style cottage and has an open kitchen with a marble waterfall island and breakfast bar that leads to the main living area. The New York Post noted that Gisele likely bought this as a temporary home until her divorce from Tom Brady has been settled.

Tom Brady Did Not Want to Divorce Gisele Bündchen

Meanwhile, another source, this time close to Tom Brady, told People Magazine that Brady did "whatever it took to make things work." The source also added that this was not the Tampa Bay quarterback's idea and that he "wanted to do whatever he needed to do to fix things" with Gisele.

The source also stated that Brady was "willing to go to therapy, marriage counseling - whatever it took to make things work." He also did not want their kids to have divorced parents, so he was doing everything he can to make the marriage work near the end.

However, Gisele felt that whatever Brady was doing was "a little bit too little, too late" and that she "gave him a lot of opportunities to fix things, and he didn't."

Gisele gave Tom an ultimatum on whether or not he should continue his career or lose her. Brady went with football, ending their marriage with a divorce.
