The Mega Millions jackpot is rising, and millions of lottery players in the country will try their luck again Friday night as they vie for an estimated $238 million grand prize.

According to IndyStar, no one matched all six numbers to win the Mega Millions jackpot of $207 million on Tuesday night. The Mega Millions winning numbers for Tuesday night's drawing were 6, 19, 28, 46, 61, and the Mega Ball was 18, with a Megaplier of 2X.

Although nobody won the grand prize in the Mega Millions drawing on November 15, two tickets matched all five numbers except for the Mega Ball. One ticket was sold in California, and the other was in Idaho.

Mega Millions Jackpot Is Rising

Friday's Mega Millions jackpot drawing, which has risen to $238 million, will give Tuesday night's disappointed lottery players a chance to redeem themselves. It has a lump sum cash option of $119.1 million.

The prize had reached more than $200 million after there was no jackpot winner on Tuesday night, and it will keep growing until someone wins the grand prize.

Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at approximately 11 p.m. ET. Mega Millions is being played in 45 states, as well as in Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The odds of hitting the Mega Millions jackpot are reportedly one in 302,575,350 and a one in 12,607,306 chance to match five numbers.

New Mega Millions Winners

California lottery officials reported that a player in the Bay Area won more than $2 million in Mega Millions drawing on Tuesday night. According to ABC7, the ticket matched all five of the winning numbers with a prize worth $2,082,652.

The ticket was reportedly sold at a Shell gas station at 798 El Camino Real. On Monday, the Florida lottery announced that a 51-year-old Florida man, who played Mega Millions, cashed out a $1 million prize.

WFLA reported that Jeremy Eastman of Jensen Beach, Martin County bought his Mega Millions ticket for the drawing held on July 29, 2022 at Cumberland Farms in 2001 Northeast Savannah Road.

Eastman's Quick Pick ticket reportedly matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn, but did not match the Mega Ball number. The store who sold the winning Mega Millions ticket will reportedly get a $1,000 bonus commission.

The Mega Millions made headlines last July when a massive $1.337 billion was won in Illinois. Two people reportedly came forward in September to claim one of the largest prizes in U.S. history.

Mega Millions made headlines in recent years due to some of its massive jackpots. However, Powerball still holds the world record for the largest jackpot, with a huge $2.04 billion prize, which was won last November 7.
