The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may be looking poised to make the NFL Playoffs. And as that is happening, Tom Brady once again talked about his retirement plans during his "Let's Go!" podcast.

During the latest episode last Monday, the legendary quarterback stated that the next time he retires, he will retire for real.

"I think next time I decide to retire, that's it for me. So whenever that day comes, we'll figure it out," he said.

However, according to Fox News, Tom Brady has said that he is not thinking about retirement just yet, but is focusing on finishing the current season strong. He says he will be taking his time before thinking about retirement.

For the time being, it seems like Brady is laser-focused in playing football, as he and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to play their best as the regular season winds down its last two weeks. They recently defeated the Arizona Cardinals in a close one last Sunday, 19-16, and will be playing the Carolina Panthers next.

The Panthers-Bucs game is an important one, as it would guarantee that Tampa Bay would be the NFC South champions, securing them a home playoff game. According to the New York Post, that game will happen on Sunday.

Tom Brady Talks About Rob Gronkowski Coming Out of Retirement Again

During last Monday's episode, Brady also discussed the possibility of former tight end and longtime teammate Rob Gronkowski once again coming out of retirement and playing alongside him again. Gronkowski had been reportedly discussing a possible return with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization.

As expected, Brady was asked about this and if Gronkowski's return might have had a factor in his plans for the future. However, Brady merely laughed about it.

Bucs coach Todd Bowles admitted that the team management had conversations with the former All-Pro tight end in November. However, the coach stated that the conversation they had was not anything significant, according to 247 Sports.

The speculations regarding Gronkowski coming out of retirement came after posting on social media that he was bored. That post got fans excited about his possible return and another reunion with Tom Brady.

Tom Brady's Road From Retirement

After the Buccaneers were eliminated from the playoffs last January, reports have emerged that the legendary quarterback was thinking about retirement. Then, on February 1, Brady finally revealed that he was indeed retiring to focus his time with his family.

Forty days later, Brady announced that he was coming out of his brief retirement and went back to play for Tampa Bay. However, this placed a strain on his marriage with Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who had a huge fight with Brady over his unretirement and this led to their divorce.

The Buccaneers are still below .500 as of writing, with a record of seven wins and eight losses. However, they are still leading the NFC South and could clinch their playoff spot next Sunday.
