Randy Gonzales Informed His Fans About His Condition

Randy Gonzales, the dad of TikTok duo Enkyboys, passed away on Monday after a valiant battle with stage 4 colon cancer, which he disclosed to his 15.4 million TikTok followers in April 2022, six months after his diagnosis.

The father of three revealed to his adoring fans that doctors had given him only two to three years to live and that chemotherapy might add another five years to his life.

When he updated his TikTok fans in early December, he said that everything was "going fine" besides that his current treatment strategy was "not working."

Speaking to the camera as he stood next to his wife and their son Brice, 6, he said, "I do feel good," stating that he was simply glad that his family was back in Texas.

In the video, he explains that he has been "sick all the time," which has kept him from posting.

Randy Gonzales took to social media after receiving his diagnosis to express his determination to be "strong for the family" and raise awareness about colon cancer, per The Daily Mail.

His cheerful attitude in the face of sorrow was tested when he described how he and his loved ones sometimes felt like they were "going through the motions" and trying to get through his cancer diagnosis "day by day."

Gonzalez expressed his distress about having to undergo treatment in November, saying he had "barely started moving again."

"Cancer sucks. It sucks the life out of you and makes you feel like you have nothing to live for but in reality, you do. You have to be strong to fight cancer and beat it," he said.

The influencer continued, "I want to be a testimony of this in another year or so when I'm still alive."

TikTok Duo Enkyboys

Randy Gonzales and his son Brice, the TikTok Duo Enkyboys, have amassed 15 million followers thanks to their humorous videos. The pair's popularity has skyrocketed since they took the platform in 2019, according to MYSA.

They have been featured on "Good Morning America" and other major news programs, and their videos have been shared on social media sites such as BuzzFeed and Yahoo Lifestyle.

Their popularity continued to rise when Brice appeared in an episode of Lopez V. Lopez, George Lopez's new program, playing George's grandson and son of Mayan, Lopez's on-screen and real-life daughter.

He co-stars with Selenis Leyva and Matt Shively, in addition to George and Mayan.

Additionally, he starred in the Eva Longoria movie Flamin' Hot. The film centers on Richard Montaez, a Frito-Lay janitor who claims to have invented Flamin' Hot Cheetos in his own kitchen. Brice will portray one of Montaez's sons.

Randy Gonzales is survived by his wife, Kimberly Gonzalez, son Brice, and daughters Lauran and Aubree.
