Jennifer Lopez is one of the greatest Latina entertainers of all time, appearing in films and TV series and making music. She mostly appears in wedding movies, with many of her films not being embraced by critics.

Rotten Tomatoes, the American website that aggregates movie and TV critics' opinions and tabulates a score that's "rotten" or "fresh," ranked some of JLo's films from worst to best in terms of how much critics loved them.

The ranking showed that many of Lopez's films are considered "rotten," with only five movies ranking "fresh" on the "Tomatometer."  The lowest ranking was "Gigli," in which she starred with her husband, Ben Affleck. The film is infamous for being one of the worst romantic comedies of all time.

Hustlers

"Hustlers" is considered by many critics as Jennifer Lopez's best performance of her career. The film has been described by critics as a "uniquely empowering heist drama with depth and intelligence to match its striking visual appeal." It garnered Lopez universal praise as she portrayed a stripper named Destiny who and other strippers try to scam wealthy men.

Antz

This animated 90s film about a colony of ants is one of the decade's most critically-acclaimed animated feature films, garnering 92% in the Tomatometer. According to Showbiz CheatSheet, the film garnered $152.4 million at the box office, with JLo voicing the female ant, Azteca.

Jennifer Lopez was not the only star in the cast as it featured a who's who of Hollywood as she co-starred with the likes of Woody Allen, Sharon Stone, Gene Hackman, and Sylvester Stallone. While dated today, the animation in the film was considered stellar at that time.

Out of Sight

While "Hustlers" garnered Jennifer Lopez her highest acting praise, her most critically-acclaimed film so far is "Out of Sight," in which she starred alongside George Clooney and directed by legendary director Steven Soderbergh.

The film, which scored 94% on the Tomatometer, was praised because of Clooney and Lopez's chemistry. It follows a battle of wits that turned into a budding romance between bank robber Jack Foley, played by Clooney, and federal marshal Karen Sisco, played by Lopez. The film is also considered by many as Clooney's star-making work.
