Former U.S. President has made a serious allegation against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, with the former president reposting a photograph that appeared to be the Florida governor swarmed by three young women.

The photo was captioned with "here is Ron DeSanctimonious grooming high school girls with alcohol as a teacher," according to Yahoo News.

The post was posted originally by a Truth Social member with the handle Dong-Chan Lee and uses a profile photo of the alt-right meme Pepe the Frog.

Trump noted a "sarcastic commentary" in another repost, writing, "No way?" He also posted that DeSantis was "having a drinking party with his students" when he was still a high school teacher.

The former president went on to say that having drinks with high school girls and "cuddling with them certainly look pretty gross and ephebophiliaesque."

Donald Trump 'Grooming' Allegations Against Ron DeSantis

The photo that Trump was posting showed DeSantis when he was 23 years old, smiling between three high school girls with blurred-out faces.

One of the females in the photos was holding a brown glass bottle, but the Republican governor was not seen drinking in the picture.

The photo was reportedly taken after the 2001 to 2002 academic year that DeSantis spent as a teacher at the prestigious Darlington School before he attended Harvard Law School, as cited by Business Insider.

Many students recalled DeSantis as going to parties with the seniors.

Some former students also reportedly remember him as "cocky and arrogant," with one incident involving a student being publicly embarrassed with a prank.

The New York Times sources also noted that he got into debates about the Civil War with students who questioned the focus and sometimes the accuracy of his lessons.

Gates Minis, a 2003 graduate, said that DeSantis was a "total jock" and was definitely proud that "he graduated Ivy."

Some also admitted him and even described him as one of "the cooler guys."

A conservative think tank, Club for Growth, released a poll predicting the Republican governor could do better.

The poll showed that DeSantis held a nine-point lead in a hypothetical 2024 matchup against the former president.

Donald Trump Vs. Ron DeSantis

Trump has been issuing tirades against the Republican governor, with the most recent one claiming that DeSantis and his team are "trying to rewrite history" when it comes to their COVID-19 pandemic response.

He then called the possible presidential run by DeSantis "very disloyal," as cited by CNN.

Their relationship traces back to DeSantis' 2018 primary campaign. Trump endorsed the Republican governor, winning the nomination.

Trump went on to describe DeSantis as an "average governor" and mocked him with the nickname "Ron DeSanctimonious."

The former president also took credit for DeSantis being a governor, saying that DeSantis "would have not been governor if it wasn't for me."

In the hypothetical match poll, DeSantis was found to be more popular than Trump with voters who said they were either conservative or moderate/liberal.
