YouTube star Jake Paul will finally clash with boxer Tommy Fury, and it may earn the YouTuber a WBC ranking should he win. The clash will happen in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia this Saturday (Saudi Arabia time), and it will have some big implications for the WBC.

Jake Paul is one of the most successful YouTubers and is the brother of fellow YouTuber Logan Paul. Meanwhile, his opponent, Tommy Fury, is the half-brother of world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. Both are still undefeated, with Paul having a surprisingly impressive 6-0 record while Fury has a record of 8-0.

ESPN+ PPV will be exclusively showing the fight in the United States on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET. However, these will only be the main card fights, with the main event between Paul and Fury making their ring walks at around 5 p.m. ET, according to NECN-10 Boston.

Those subscribed to ESPN+ will be able to watch the fight, with a subscription costing $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year.

Why Jake Paul Getting a WBC Ranking Should He Beat Tommy Fury Is Not That Crazy

Should Jake Paul win, WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman stated that he might be ranked in WBC's Top 15 fighters for the cruiserweight division, which is 40 deep.

Many are rolling their eyes at Jake Paul taking on a legitimate boxer like Tommy Fury, with Paul the possibility of that world ranking at stake. However, Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn has pointed out that should Paul beat Fury, it would be a huge statement for the YouTuber.

Hearn did admit that there are a lot more boxers that deserve to be in the Top 15 over Paul, but ultimately said that there is a little bit of publicity on the mix and stated, "but it's the world we live in."

This might also set Paul up for a shot at the WBC Cruiserweight belt, as only boxers in the Top 15 can challenge for it. That might be convenient, as the organization's cruiserweight title will be on the line as part of the fight's undercard, with world champion Ilunga Makabu facing Badou Jack, according to CBS Sports.

Tommy Fury Wants to End Jake Paul's Boxing Career

Much of the criticism towards Jake Paul was that he has never really fought actual legitimate boxers. He defeated an NBA player in a celebrity boxing match, as well as MMA fighters who are better when there's grappling involved rather than a straight stand-up fight.

In a statement, his opponent, Fury, stated, "When I'm done, this guy will never box ever again."

He will be the biggest test for Paul and the most legitimate so far. According to MMA Junkie, the Brit would not be satisfied with just knocking out Jake Paul; he wants to end his career.

Fury will be trained by John Fury, who also trained his other son, World Heavyweight Champ Tyson Fury. The trainer and former boxer noted that his son has already "sent more than one sparring partner to the hospital, broke the jaw of one, and has knocked out heavyweights in the gym."
