The 95th Academy Awards on Sunday announced "Everything Everywhere All at Once" as the best picture winner, dominating the Oscars 2023 with seven awards.

The film was a crazy adventure about a Chinese-American laundromat owner who must deal with an IRS audit and attacks from other dimensions.

The film's awards include original screenplay and directing for Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, the two men who made it, collectively known as the Daniels, Variety noted.

It is a massive win for A24, the independent studio that helped propel the offbeat film to a staggering $100 million at the box office.

It is especially noteworthy considering the declining market for arthouse films.
