Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) judge Len Goodman passed away last Saturday at a hospice in Tunbridge Wells, Kent in the U.K. Now, his cause of death has been revealed.

According to the BBC, he died after a long battle with bone cancer. When he passed, the British dance icon was reportedly surrounded by family.

Goodman is also known for the British show, "Strictly Come Dancing," and his co-host, Claudia Winkleman, was one of the people who paid tribute to him, calling the dance maestro "a class act." Former judges Dame Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli also praised him.

Fans know him best for his enthusiastic judging, as when he particularly likes a performance, he would usually utter his catchphrase, along with "It's a 10 from Len" for those contestants who truly deserve it.

More tributes came in, including Strictly's longest-serving judge, Craig Revel Horwood, who paid tribute to his co-judge on Monday, calling him a "gorgeous colleague and dear friend." He added, "Len Goody Goodman is what I always called him, and 'It's a ten from Len & seveeeeern' will live with me forever."

Meanwhile, his co-host Tess Daly stated that Goodman was "a beautiful man, genuine, warm and humble, who left an impression on everyone he met," and posted on social media, "You were never a 7 for me, Len you were always a 10."

He said, "My dad had the right idea. He loved gardening and he had a stroke while he was out in the garden. He was 79 so if I go the way of my dad, that'll be next year."
