Lupillo Rivera's next album will include a song Juan Gabriel gave him.

Over the weekend, Rivera revealed that the "Divo de Juárez" star gave him an unpublished song called "Si Me Quieres Ver Muy Triste," or "If You Want to See Me Very Sad," according to La Opinion.

"Thank you to Juan Gabriel for believing in my talent and giving me the opportunity to sing this unpublished song," Rivera tweeted.

The song was originally supposed to be a duet between Juan Gabriel and Lupillo Rivera.

He was very appreciative, as he also said, "Thank you for believing in me and giving me a new song for my new album, sir."

Rivera's brother, Juan, recently opened up about celebrating their late sister's birthday.

Juan said that though they were planning a big celebration, he didn't know if Lupillo would show up. He has had confrontations with family members.

"I don't know if my brother will go," Juan said. "Everybody has been invited. That's all I can say. ... But I don't know about my brother. That is out of my control, and I don't want it to be the point of the conversation. If he comes, then good. If not, that's fine too. This is about my sister."

Lupillo had also previously not supported his niece, Chiquis Rivera. But he recently backed her up and asked his followers to vote for her for the upcoming Premios Juventud awards, where she will be debuting as a singer.

Lupillo also did not deny rumors that the two will record a duet. "We'll see. ... We'll see what happens down the road," he said.
