Taylor Swift made a heartfelt plea to fans at her recent concert in Argentina, urging them not to throw objects on stage as it makes her uncomfortable and poses a safety risk.

The incident occurred during the "Evermore" segment of her Eras Tour when a presumed gift landed near her piano, NBC News reports.

Swift, in a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) by Taylor Swift Updates, emphasized the importance of communication and maintaining healthy boundaries.

Expressing gratitude for the presents brought by fans, Swift kindly requested that they refrain from throwing items on stage to prevent potential accidents.

"It really freaks me out when stuff gets thrown on the stage because if it's on the stage, then a dancer can trip on it. I love that you brought presents, and that is so nice, but just can you please not throw them on the stage. I love you so much," she explained.

Throwing Things on Stage Becomes a Trend in Concerts

The Taylor Swift Argentina concert is part of a growing trend where performers are increasingly dodging objects thrown by audience members.

Earlier this year, Bebe Rexha required stitches after a phone was thrown at her during a New York City performance, The Independent noted.

Similarly, country star Kelsea Ballerini was hit in the face by a fan-thrown object in Boise, Idaho, prompting her to briefly leave the stage.

"All I care about is keeping everyone safe. If you ever don't feel safe, please let someone around you know. If anyone's pushing too much or you just have that gut feeling, just always flag it. Don't throw things," Ballerini told the crowd.

The trend continued with Pink, who was stunned when a fan threw a bag containing their mother's ashes onto the stage during her Hyde Park show for the British Summer Time Festival.

The singer, visibly unsure about the situation, asked the person in the audience if it was their mother and expressed uncertainty about how she felt.

Furthermore, Cardi B experienced a similar situation in July when a drink was thrown at her during a performance.

In response, she threw her microphone in the direction of the thrower, highlighting the escalating issue of objects being thrown during live performances.

Taylor Swift Surprises Argentina Fans

Despite these challenges, Taylor Swift Argentina concert was filled with surprises and joy for fans, according to MARCA.

Swift, performing on three evenings at River Plate's Estadio Monumental, was visibly surprised by the ecstatic welcome from the crowd.

The singer, known for her connection with fans, expressed her gratitude during the performance and made a heartfelt promise to return to the South American nation for each future tour.

In a surprising twist during the Saturday show, she changed the lyrics of the song "Karma" to give a shoutout to her new beau, Travis Kelce. The unexpected change was met with excitement from the audience.

Post-show, fans witnessed the first Taylor Swift Travis Kelce kiss in public backstage, capturing the attention of thousands of fans eagerly awaiting another glimpse of the singer.

Additionally, during her acoustic set on Saturday, Swift expressed her joy at receiving six Grammy nominations, thanking her audience for their unwavering support.

With her song "Anti Hero," Taylor Swift not only became the most-nominated "Song of the Year" nominee in Grammy history but also tied the record for most nominations in the "Album of the Year" category for a female artist with Barbra Streisand.
