Medical officials in Los Angeles have officially confirmed that actor Matthew Perry cause of death was accidental, resulting from the "acute effects of ketamine," according to BBC.

The initial post-mortem examination was inconclusive, but drowning was listed as a contributing factor to his tragic demise.
