After trying to lay low for a while after her sex scandal, MAGA darling and Colorado Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert was caught in a physical altercation with her ex-husband, Jayson Boebert, inside a restaurant in Colorado. It got so bad that the police even had to be called in.

According to Yahoo! News, the altercation happened in a small town called Silt, which is part of Boebert's congressional district, which she is trying to leave for a deep red district where she has a larger chance of winning after her Democratic rival outraised her there. It was her ex-husband who called the police and claimed that he was a victim of domestic violence.

However, after Jayson Boebert called the police on her, she called them as well, denying her ex-husband's domestic violence allegations and telling the police she was willing to speak with an officer at the restaurant.

Police then arrived at the scene, but no arrests were made. The MAGA congresswoman was then reportedly driven home by a friend.

"We were called to the Miner's Claim restaurant in town, and it involved Lauren and her ex-husband," said Silt Police Chief Mike Kite, who then told the media that they were investigating the incident and seeking additional witnesses. They are also looking for videos regarding the altercation.

Soon after media reports of the altercation at the Colorado restaurant came out, a Lauren Boebert spokesperson addressed the situation. While reports state that the MAGA darling pushed her ex-husband after he tried to hug her at the restaurant, the aide stated that Jayson Boebert's behavior at the restaurant was "aggressive and disrespectful."

The severity of the physical altercation between the two has not yet been determined. The Lauren Boebert spokesperson stated that the Colorado Republican tried to keep her ex-husband back, and this involved putting her hand on his face and nose. This was when he called the police on her.

The congresswoman herself also released a statement following the altercation, stating, "This is a sad situation for all and another reason I'm moving."

Lauren Boebert received much criticism from both the left and the right for announcing that she is leaving her current district for a much redder one, which will have an open seat after Republican Rep. Ken Buck retires, according to the Associated Press.

More Bad News For MAGA Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert as Colorado Voters Lose Faith in Her

Her "Beetlejuice" musical sex scandal turned off many conservative voters as she was still married to Jayson Boebert when it happened. However, her decision to leave her district may have sealed her fate.

Some conservative voters from her current 3rd Congressional District of Colorado, where her recent altercation happened, may just vote for a Democrat for the first time in 2024, even those avidly anti-Biden.

"I still blame Biden and the Democrats for the skyrocketing costs," conservative Colorado voter Maisy Reid told Politico. "But I got a weird sort of feeling when Boebert was ranting about masks because, by that point, masks were irrelevant here. What mattered was the cost of gas and food and rent. It seemed she was out of touch."
