In his latest effort to blame the ongoing border crisis on Joe Biden, Donald Trump claimed he met with a Latino family whose daughter was killed by an illegal migrant. However, the sister of the slain Ruby Garcia says they never even met him and slammed him for politicizing her sister's death.

During one of his rallies on Tuesday, the former president tried to use the alleged killing of 25-year-old Ruby Garcia by an undocumented immigrant as a way to attack Biden and prove that his immigration policies are not working, describing the late Garcia by saying, "She lit up that room, and I've heard that from so many people, I spoke to some of her family."

The former president was caught lying once again when Mavi Garcia, Ruby Garcia's sister, spoke with ABC News and debunked Trump's claims.

"I can confirm and assure you he did not speak with me or my immediate family," she said.

"He did not speak with us, so it was kind of shocking seeing that he had said that he had spoke with us, and misinforming people on live TV," added the sister. "The focus should be on my sister right now, who she was in life."

Soon after, ABC News tried to reach out to the Trump Campaign but would not comment on the record about the contradiction, instead insisted that they "don't share details of who they spoke with and what was said during private meetings unless given explicit permission by the families involved."

Donald Trump Fact-Checked After Another Claim on Ruby Garcia's Death

Trump was immediately fact-checked once again, as an Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesperson issued a statement that said that the suspect re-entered the US after deportation "at an unknown date and location," which meant that Trump was just trying to blame this on Biden without any solid evidence.

As Donald Trump tried using Ruby Garcia's death for his political ends, it was noted that the former president went back and forth between saying Garcia was 25 years old and 17 years old.

"It's always been about illegal immigrants," Garcia's sister told NBC News. "Nobody really speaks about when Americans do heinous crimes and it's kind of shocking why he would just bring up illegals. What about Americans who do heinous crimes like this?"
