According to what he said, it was all the result of an accident he suffered while playing sports , although he did not say exactly which one.
"I have two fissures, I have a fissure in each arm, both arms were the lucky ones this time, things happen for a reason, we are thankful that it was not something more serious, it was just a fissure, from there what could have followed was a break or the bone being badly positioned or some operation, but you have to see the positive, I think it was the least that could have happened within the bad..." said the artist, while trying to make his fans laugh, who had been worried for days, since he had disappeared from social networks.
"I feel fine. I'm scraped all over this arm, my right arm, my back is all scraped, my knee too, but I can tell you, all things considered, I'm fine, although it's been difficult for me to do a lot of things..."
"I'm not sending you a hug because I really can't (laughs)... I got injured playing sports, so I have to keep at it. The doctors told me that I would recover in a month with a check-up, but in that month we'll be back with all the energy, all the enthusiasm... Don't worry... Cheer up, I'm not worried," he added.
Colleagues such as the vocalists of Arrolladora Banda el Limón, Alex Villarreal, Jorge Medina, and his bandmates wished him a speedy recovery, while fans assured him that he looked fine even with his casts.
Fortunately for him, Calibre has no dates scheduled in the coming days. The band, known as "The Outstanding Sinaloan Powerhouse," wrapped up an international tour in December 2024 and is currently enjoying the success of their latest album, "Sueño Americano," which has placed them at the top of the Mexican music charts.
Tony Elizondo joined Calibre 50 as a replacement for Edén Muñóz and quickly won the affection of the public, especially female fans, who consider him one of the most handsome artists in the regional Mexican music genre.
