Manny Pacquiao will likely face Chris Algieri on Nov. 22 in Macau, as reports indicated that Top Rank Promotions CEO Bob Arum has already sent an offer to the WBO light welterweight champion.

Joe DeGuardia, Algieri's promoter, said in a recent interview with the New York Daily News that they have already received an offer to face Pacquiao, and he expects a decision soon.

"We have a Pacquiao offer on the table and we are negotiating that actually as we speak," DeGuardia said. "And I expect that we're going to have a resolution within the next day or two."

DeGuardia refused to reveal the details of the offer, but he hinted that they got a seven-digit offer, which means that Algieri will receive at least $1 million if he decides to face Pacquiao.

Arum said that he is scheduled to talk to DeGuardia in Los Angeles and the famed promoter is hoping that the fight will be finalized soon, saying that they are serious about the proposed match.

"I hope we'll be able to get Joe on the phone and we'll be able to button this up," Arum said. "We're talking serious now with the idea of making the fight. It's not (bull). Now, whether it gets made or not I don't know."

Algieri suddenly became an intriguing option for Pacquiao after the 30-year-old scored a split-decision win against Ruslan Provodnikov in their WBO light welterweight showdown last month.

DeGuardia said that the win against Provodnikov proved that Algieri, who is still unbeaten in 20 fights, deserves a fight against the big names in the welterweight division. He added that winning against the former pound-for-pound king will put Algieri at another level.

"It's the best possible fight out there for Chris," DeGuardia said of the possible fight against the Filipino boxing icon. "He did great in the Ruslan fight and he did great there, but fighting Pacquiao puts him on a completely different level and a win against Pacquiao makes him a star, a legitimate and true star."

Pacquiao, who is also being linked to fights against Amir Khan and Marcos Maidana, is coming off a unanimous decision win against Timothy Bradley in April to reclaim the WBO welterweight title.
