According to the latest results of Princeton Review's College Rankings, Syracuse University is the country's top party school. The university took the top spot from the No. 1 party school of 2013, the University of Iowa.

It ranked second in the same category during that year, meaning the two schools practically just switched spots with each other. According to Princeton Review, the figures were derived from surveying the top 379 colleges with the participation of 130,000 students and about a dozen topics on campus experience.

The annual Princeton Review guides incoming college students and helps them decide which college they would like to attend with 62 different rankings. The University of California-Santa Barbara ranks third, while West Virginia University and the University of Illinois follows up the last two spots in the top five party schools.

Syracuse is not only good at partying, according to the survey, as the university also ranked highly in the field of sports, sitting at the third spot overall. Its student newspaper ranked as well, claiming the second top spot in the country. Nonetheless, the university was not very excited with the news, saying they "do not aspire to be a party school."

The rankings also include other notables including "most LGBT-friendly," which goes to Stanford, "most beautiful campus" to Colgate University and "best dorms" to Washington University in St. Louis. On the other hand, the complete opposite of the award Syracuse claimed goes to Brigham Young University that was hailed the most sober among the universities on the list.

For the sake of students who wish to attend the top party schools, completing the top 10 are the following: Lehigh University, Penn State University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Bucknell University and finally University of Florida.
