Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant turned 36 years old on Saturday, while LA's newly-acquired guard Jeremy Lin also celebrated his birthday.

Lakers executive vice president Jeannie Buss was one of the many well-known personalities, who sent their birthday wishes to Bryant, who has been turning heads in the NBA since he was just 18 years old.

Bryant, who has a career average of 25.5 points to go along with 5.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game, got a fresh two-year, $48.5 million deal from Buss and the Lakers in November.

"Happy Birthday Kobe," Buss posted on her Twitter account. "Best wishes & look forward to seeing you back on the court where you belong."

ESPN's SportsCenter also greeted Bryant through their Twitter account where they praised the 16-time All-Star for being the youngest player to reach 31,700 points in league history.

"Happy 36th Birthday, Kobe Bryant! His 31,700 points are the most in NBA history for anyone 36 or younger," ESPN's SportsCenter posted.

Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings, who recently had tremendous praises for Bryant, also sent his own well wishes on Saturday. Jennings posted a photo on his Twitter account, showing some of Bryant's accomplishment in the NBA.

Jennings recently made headlines when he said that Bryant is the greatest player of all time, not Michael Jordan, saying that the Chicago Bulls superstar had more "help" during his championship runs in the 1990s.

"MJ (Michael Jordan) never won without Pippen. Kobe won 2 rings without another great on his team. Kobe is The Goat (Greatest of All Time)," Jennings recently wrote.

Lin, who was sent to Los Angeles from the Houston Rockets in a trade earlier this offseason, also celebrated his first birthday as part of the Lakers organization.

Former Rockets teammate Chandler Parsons, who also moved out of Houston this summer to sign with the Dallas Mavericks, greeted the 26-year-old point guard.

"Happy Birthday to the man @JLin7!! Enjoy it.... @kobebryant you too bro," Parsons wrote on Twitter.
