Dina Eastwood has filed for legal separation from her husband, actor-director Clint Eastwood.

Dina filed for the separation on Monday in Monterey County Superiour Court, The Monterey County Herald reports.

In the petition, Dina asks for spousal support. She also asks for custody of their daughter, 16-year-old Morgan. Legally, the custody would typically be shared between Dina and Clint. Furthermore, Dina requested leave to amend once community and separate property has been settled and "pursuant to premarital agreement."

C. Michael McClure, Dina's attorney, has yet to make a statement on the manner.

"I know nothing about that," Clint's manager told Us Weekly.

Dina, who starred in the E! reality series "Mrs. Eastwood & Company" married Clint in 1996. The two lived in an estate in Camel.

According to The Monterey County Herald, various media sources claim that the couple's problems began during production for "Mrs. Eastwood & Company."

In August, Dina, 48, revealed that to Us Weekly that she and Clint, 83, have been living separately for months, but assured the magazine that they still are close.

In September, rumors started circulating that Dina began a new relationship with her friend Scott Fisher, 50, Hawaii University basketball coach. According to NY Daily News, the two have known each other for 33 years since they met each other during their high school days in Fremont, Calif. Meanwhile, it was reported that Clint was involved with Erica Tomlinson-Fischer, 42, Scott Fisher's ex-wife.

"After Scott and Erica divorced, Erica was sure Scott was romancing Dina," an Us Weekly source said. "Erica called Clint's office last February to discuss her suspicions - then he fell for her!"

Dina apparently heard the news as well. "I am saddened to see photos of Clint with Ms. Tomlinson-Fisher," Dina said in a statement to Us Weekly. "I look forward to new beginnings."

Despite the changing relationship, it would appear that Dina does not wish to start being vicious towards Clint. "I don't like reading negative things about Clint," Dina said via Twitter. "He is a wonderful, good natured, brilliant person. No matter what, I attest to that."
