Apple is set to unveil new products in an event taking place at 1 p.m. EST. Viewers can follow along via a live stream on the Apple website.

Rumors have circulated about the types of revelations anticipated from the event. One of the rumors that viewers hope to address is the new iPhone 6 screen size, according to Time.

Current iPhones have 4-inch screens but rumors have been floating about two version including a 4.7- and 5.5-inch option.

The screens are also rumored to be made of an unbreakable material -- a relief for anyone who has ever experienced the heartbreak of dropping an iPhone.

The rumor is the displays are made of sapphire crystal, but well-connected Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that may not be ready for this event, Time reported.

Other rumors include the first wearable, the iWatch, which may not be available until 2015, but the design is likely to be revealed, Wired reports.

It is said to have a curved screen, and will likely be able to integrate with Apple's Home Kit and Health Kit platforms, and both platforms -- which are relatively new form Apple -- are likely to be discussed at the event.

Another device that is likely to be discussed is the new Macbook Air, Time reported.

But the design is not rumored to be very different from the previous version.

The devices that won't be discussed are likely tablets and Macs, Wired reports.

Those will likely be unveiled in the fall, closer to holiday shopping time as has been done in the past.

Time reported the location of the event is where Steve Jobs first unveiled the Mac 30 years ago.

The announcements will come from Cupertino, California, but can be watched via live stream beginning at 1 p.m. at https://www.apple.com/live.
