Sebatián Rulli may be known for his leading man looks, but the Argentine actor is more than just a telenovela star.

In an interview with the Spanish media, Rulli talks about his current and his plans to create an empire.

Though he's an actor on movies, television and theater, Rulli started off as a model. He worked in Spain and throughout Europe.

"Modeling was always a medium for me," he said. "The objective was to always study acting for fun, and all of a sudden, I got the opportunity for work. And I took it very seriously. I started in Argentina, and now I've been in Mexico for 15 years."

He has been acting since the mid '90s, and his 2004 role as Hector Ferrer Gaza in "Rubí" was his breakthrough hit.

Rulli said he has completed 13 telenovelas in Mexico and five in Argentina.

"It's a lot of months working," he said. "It's 9 months to a year filming. They are on air for about 9 months. Sometimes a little more. Sometimes a little less, depending on its success."

The interview took place in Spain, as Rulli is now on his two-week break from "Los Derechos de la Mujer." The star is tied to Spain because his family has lived in Estepona for about 14 years. His co-star Angelique Boyer is also in Europe at the time being, which is sure to spark more romance rumors between the two.

He said that he liked the change that the play was bringing to his life. He is able to go to a new city every night, and he is rewarded by people's laughter.

Rulli opened a restaurant in Espona, which is called 11&11.

Those who follow the actor on social media know that he has a thing for that number. He normally posts about making a wish at that time.

He started the restaurant with his family, and he said the number is very important to his family.

"My father was born on the 11th at 11:11 at night" he said. "And I was born on July 6, but at 11:11 in the morning."

The entire family had a say in the name, and the restaurant, which has been opened for 5 months, will have an official opening this week.

Rulli calls it a youthful, fun environment and he hopes to have it open for the entire year.
