Nicki Minaj took to her Instagram account to apologize to fans who she says missed the entire second verse routine when her performance of "Anaconda" was cut short by CBS executives during this year's Fashion Rocks in honor of NYFW.

The show was held at Brooklyn's Barclays Center where stars like Nicki Minaj and Jennifer Lopez were set to perform for the live audience and viewers at home. But CBS claims it was Nicki who was being difficult and disregarded the network's warning not to dance so suggestively during the CBS live broadcast.

"My darlingz, I wish you could've seen the choreography on the 2nd verse of ANACONDA last night. It was absolutely divine. CBS decided not to show it. Had they told us this before, we would have changed the choreo so that you guys could see the full performance from beginning to end. They already had you tuned in tho. Artists spend so much of their own money, time and passion to deliver their fans great performances. But ultimately, our art usually falls into the hands of people who care nothing about our art and creativity. Promise you'll get to see this new choreo soon. Love uuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!! 11.24 ~ The Pinkprint." Nicki wrote, also promoting her new album's release date.

Nicki Minaj is known to be explicit with her lyrics and over the edge on stage. CBS is known to be a bit more conservative than networks like MTV, where Nicki was able to express her creativity freely during her performance of "Anaconda" at the VMA's. "Her moves were crazy," an insider says. "The camera crew had to cut away from her dancing at one point because she was basically having sex on stage."

Although CBS has not admitted to cutting the performance short by not televising the second verse, they do claim Minaj was being a total diva since rehearsals.

"She was acting completely out of control, and threatened to walk off the show," the insider claims. "The CBS executives told her she was being inappropriate, and that she should leave. They were planning to have Kiss perform two extra songs to cover Nicki's time slot."

It appears CBS and Nicki Minaj could agree to disagree and move on. Do you think Nicki Minaj will attend next year's Fashion Rocks? Will CBS invite her back?
