One of the nation’s largest mobile phone providers, AT&T, has announced its plans for the incoming iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

The carrier will provide new features with the phone, including WiFi calls. Demand for the new Apple smartphone has been so high it is already off the charts.

AT&T announced it would offer WiFi voice calls with the new iPhone 6, according to Cnet. The new feature will arrive in 2015 but the company is not as eager as its competitor T-Mobile, which announced the same feature first, to promote it. WiFi calling will only be available alongside voice-over-LTE and 3G voice.

"We're very focused on making sure it's a great experience for customers, but we see it as a complement, not a replacement," said Ralph de la Vega, president and CEO of AT&T's new Mobile and Business Solutions group. "We feel good about a great nationwide network with unlimited talk and text."

In a statement, the mobile phone company announced various deals for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, including pre-orders, available at att.com/iPhone. Those who have older iPhones can trade them in for a $300 value. “iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available for $0 down on AT&T Next,” the statement said.

Demand for the new phone, which will not be available in stores until Sept. 19, has been so high that it is already off the charts. BGR reports AT&T has experienced higher demand for iPhones than in previous years.

Fans have taken to Twitter to talk about AT&T’s deals and the hassle of waiting for the new iPhone 6.
