Miley Cyrus has already been accused of disrespecting the Mexican flag, but if reports are true, Cyrus might have said some unkind words about the people of Mexico.

Responding to critics of her flag incident, Cyrus supposedly said she didn't care if she insulted Mexicans.

"I don't care what Mexicans think," Cyrus allegedly said. "I don't like them. They are the worst thing that could have happened to my country.

Though this quote has circulated around on Sal Y Pimienta on Univision and other sites, it seems the piece of gossip has originated from Cronica Informativa.

The validity of the quotes are definitely lessened when the image used for the article is one of her doing an interview with the Argentine press. In that interview, all Cyrus spoke about was how it was unfortunate that she didn't get to spend too much time exploring the country. She also said that sometimes fans were a little crazy and kept her from sleeping, but that she appreciated how much love they had for her.

The rest of the interview focused on Cyrus talking about her music, and how she has definitely left Hannah Montana behind her. She explained why "We Can't Stop" was a perfect song for her to come back with.

Cyrus also said that she doesn't listen to any of her music from the Disney show, but she also doesn't like to listen to any of her old songs.

Instead, she just moves forward.

But it doesn't seem like the reports that Cyrus hates Mexicans are dying down quickly. One Twitter user pointed this out.

"She dissed Mexicans but reports seem to be false," she said. "They should tell that to television networks."

But others have stood by her and know that the comments seemed out of character for the singer.

"I LOVE @MileyCyrus," a fan said on Twitter. "Please come back soon to Mexico."
