Eiza Gonzalez has been making a name for herself in Hollywood, but she got her start in telenovelas.

Gonzalez, who starred in Lola, Erase Una Vez, is rumored to be courted by Telemundo. The network supposedly wants the actress for one of its newest telenovelas that would be produced by Argos Comunicación, notes TV y Novelas.

A source said that Gonzalez doesn't seem willing to leave her Hollywood projects, but she did agree to take the meeting with Telemundo.

Gonzalez is also rumored to have asked for a lot of money to star in one of these roles, which was accepted by the Telemundo. And sources say she would take on the project if she can find time in her busy schedule, but before you start celebrating her return to telenovelas, you might be disappointed to find that Gonzalez has denied the rumor.

The Mexican actress took to Twitter to say that it's all a lie.

"It is not true that I'm going to do a novela," she said. "We haven't negotiated absolutely anything with anyone. I am not considering doing novelas for the moment. Don't lie."

Gonzalez is not the only former telenovela star who has been rumored to be making a return to telenovelas. Thalia and William Levy have also had these same rumors about them.

Recently, Gonzalez explained her love for the United States. She plans to become a citizen at some point.

"Yes, I'm definitely going to do it," she said. "I love the states, so I'm happy living here."

Gonzalez, who is playing Santanico Pandemonium in "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series," also has no problem shooting big. When asked if she thought she could be nominated for an Oscar, she explained that there was no reason for her not to think that it was out of the question for her.
