During the summer, July 24-27, comic book aficionados, fans, and cosplayers got a glimpse of some of their heroes at the San Diego Comic-Con in California. Now this fall, Oct. 9-12, New Yorkers are having their time with New York Comic-Con at the Javits Center.

This weekend saw the debut of Marvel and Netflix's "Daredevil."

Some of the cast members of Marvel and Netflix's live-action series "Daredevil" were in attendance. One significant Marvel artist was also on hand at the event to share their concept art for the series. And, Netflix also shared their art work for the series.

The logo of "Daredevil" on Netflix is a meh. The official image of the "man without fear" TV show is not anything unique and it does not even stand out. However, by not changing the logo at all it means that the show will keep it close to the comics, Tech Times reported. The logo, pictured below, is red and clean.

Marvel and Netflix producers are expected to show some exclusive video content of the show.

This "Daredevil" TV show is expected to turn dark. The show's producers want to follow in the footsteps of Frank Miller. Miller is responsible for the "Dark Knight Returns" comic book series, Tech Times reported.

While the time for the Marvel and Netflix panel has passed -- it was at 3:45-4:45 p.m. today -- some stars did appear. Daredevil himselfCharlie Cox, appeared, along with Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson and Vincent D'Onofrio. D'Onofrio will be playing Wilson Fisk, aka King Pin, MoviePilot reported.

The fans who participated in this event were expected to get a special treat: a Marvel "Daredevil" production concept art poster, pictured below. The art is drawn by Marvel Chief Creative Officer and legendary artist Joe Quesada.

San Diego Comic-Con is similar to New York Comic-Con. New York Comic-Con kicked off last Thursday, opening with some 800 exhibitors, 400 panels, 600 artist signings, cosplayers, comics and graphic novels, and so much more, CBS News reported.

Some of the highlights and expected appearances are from the cast of "Star Trek: The Next Generation," which includes Patrick Stewart and Jonathan Frakes, just to name a couple. Also expected are William Shatner and Adam Westwith a special spotlight on "Doctor Who."

On the opening day fans got a surprise: George Clooney. Clooney surprised Comic-Con attendees when he showed up on stage for the panel of Disney's "Tomorrowland," CBS News reported. Clooney sat alongside the director and producer Brad Bird, screenwriter and producer Damon Lindelof, and Hugh Laurie, Britt Robertson and Shiloh Nelson.

There will be also autograph signings from Gillian Anderson, Giancarlo Esposito, Hulk Hogan and Lucy Lawless, just to name a few.
