WWE Raw kicked off with Dean Ambrose in the ring, stating he was annoyed he has to go through John Cena to get to Seth Rollins at Hell in a Cell (HIAC). Cena came out to the ring and told Ambrose that he is letting his lunatic tendencies get in the way of his goals. Cena and Ambrose were ready to battle before The Authority interrupted them and ordered they team up in a Triple Threat tag team match against The Usos and the WWE Tag Team Champions Stardust and Goldust.
