During a recent online segment of "Ask Andy," "The Real Housewives" creator, Andy Cohen responded to claims that "RHOA" star, Porsha Williams was demoted due to her physical altercation with fellow "RHOA" co-star, Kenya Moore last season, New Pittsburgh Courier reports.

"It had nothing to do with anything that happened at the reunion last season," Cohen revealed. "Really, it was about the amount of story we got from Porsha this season."

The "Watch What Happens Live" host went on to explain that he and Bravo producers originally signed Williams with the intention of having her as a main cast member this upcoming season.

However, WIlliams' drama-less storyline this season ultimately left Bravo execs with no choice but to demote her.

"We went into it assuming she would be a full housewife, holding a peach," Cohen continued. "We just haven't gotten enough to merit that. She's going to be in it a lot. We love her. I hope she'll be on Bravo endlessly."

Williams first announced her "RHOA" demotion on Instagram and Twitter earlier this month. The "Dish Nation" commentator posted a photo of herself with an X across the photo and captioned it, "No more peach for me, but I still love checking in with my girls" #Blessed #SomethingMajor #JustHereToSlay #TeamPorsha."

Bravo also confirmed Williams' demotion news by releasing the official "RHOA" cast photo for the show's upcoming season that featured two new cast members in replacement of Williams.

Williams will now appear on the upcoming season of "RHOA" as "friend" to the real housewives.

Following the news of her demotion, Williams explained that she felt "blindsided" by Bravo and Cohen's decision.

Williams released a statement obtained by Us Weekly adding that she would focus her attention on her additional ventures including an upcoming album and her "Dish Nation" hosting job.
