The father of Lamar Odom has spoken in an interview with RadarOnline.com placing the blame for his son's troubles's on his daughter-in-law Khloe Kardashian and the rest of the elite reality star's family.

Joe Odom blamed each of the members of the family, and even said that Lamar marrying Khloe was the worst mistake his 33-year-old son ever did. Some of his claims include the Kardashians cursing the career of his boy and that the existence of the reality show placing too much pressure on Lamar, which eventually led him to taking drugs. He also claimed that Kris Jenner, the Kardashian matriarch is evil and treats one of her daughters, Kim, like a "porn star."

The elder Odom, who used to work in the post office, thinks that the best thing his son should do is to leave his wife Khloe and start a new life being single. It is in his opinion the best way to beat drugs.

However, above all this, Lamar Odom himself has broken his silence and posted remarks on Twitter. Instead of taking the side of his father, he has lashed out at his own dad's recent comments about his wife and the Kardashians. Lamar defended his wife, Khloe and her family, even saying that it was the Kardashian family who supported him all the way during the "dark times" of his life, TVNZ reports.

Here's an excerpt from the actual tweet of Lamar is as follows:

"Won't continue 2 speak on this but I have got 2 let this out real quick. I have let this man and many others get away with a lot of shit. He wasn't there 2 raise me. He was absent ALL of my life due to his own demons. My mother and grandmother raised me. Queens raised me. For the first time since they left, came a blessing of a FAMILY that I married into. FAMILY. That man wasn't even invited to my wedding. He has never met my mother in law and some of my other family. How can a man who has NOT once called me to check on my well being have the nerve to talk so recklessly about his own "son"..."

And for Lamar Odom's other recent tweets:

Odom now is a free agent and yet to sign up with an NBA team still when the training camps start next week, the Miami Herald says.
