Dia de Los Muertos has made its way to America, and there are plenty of events going on in New York to celebrate the Latino holiday.

Although many events have already happened in early October, there are still a lot of activities left to enjoy. This list of events includes something for families and adults, as well as events that are more traditional.

On Oct. 31, in Flushing, there is Halloween Remixed. This is a mix of Dia de Los Muertos, Halloween and All Saints Day. It's a family-friendly event, which will have sugar skulls and ghost stories. The event starts at 4 p.m.

Dos Caminos is planning a Day of the Dead inspired weekend. There's a cooking class with the restaurant's chef, Ivy Stark, which will take place on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its Park Avenue location. The course will be $75, and it will feature Mexican sugar skulls and cocktails.

One Day of the Dead celebration will be dedicated to Maria Felix and Octavio Paz. The event will take place at St. Mark's Church in the Bowery on Saturday from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The free event encourages attendees to bring copies of photographs of their loved ones as well as marigold flowers.

El Museo del Barrio's junior council is hosting a celebration as well. At the Hotel Americano, located on 518 W. 27th St., there will be drinks and dancing. The event takes place from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets can be purchased here.

There will be a combined Dia De Los Muertos and Halloween party at Bounce Sporting Club at 55 W 21st St. featuring a live DJ and a one-hour Tequila open bar. The event kicks off at 9 p.m.
