Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger, who have been seeing each other for the past few weeks, finally displayed their affection in public for the first time, earlier this week.

While watching the USC Trojans play against the Cal Bears at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Nov. 13, the couple was spotted kissing and taking selfies together.

"They were very flirtatious and [looked] like a couple," an eyewitness told E! News. "She was gregarious and was talking to his friends too which was nice to see because she didn't seem stuck up."

Also, Cyrus was seen cuddling with Schwarzenegger outside of the Egyptian Theatre the night before, attending the Q&A session and screening for drama film "Still Alice," which was produced by new boyfriend's mom Maria Shriver.

It seems like the pop star has moved on from ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth for good and is taking her new relationship with the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger quite seriously, as she reportedly met up with Shriver recently.

"Miley is very happy. That was the first time she met his mom and it went well. She was super nervous, but they were all really nice to her. She's so relieved," a source revealed to Hollywood Life. "She has met Patrick's sister before and she's always been nice to her, but Miley was nervous about meeting his mom for obvious reasons."

Cyrus, who is notorious for her provocative fashion style and controversial antics, apparently took so long just to get ready because she wanted to impress Schwarzenegger's conservative mother.

"Getting ready was a huge drama. For Miley, it was harder than picking out a dress for the Oscars," the source said. "She was so stressed about what to wear. She tried on a million things because she wanted to wear something to help her fit in, but she still wanted to look like herself -- it was hard!"

And this stress lasted until the last minute.

"She was wearing a totally different outfit and then she changed again at the last second," the source said. "It was so stressful. She's happy with what she wore, though. She's glad she covered up. She really likes Patrick and wants his family to like her."

Then what does Maria Shriver really think about Miley Cyrus?

"Maria's never going to come out and say something negative about Miley -- that's not her style," another source said. "But she is pressuring Patrick to drop her."

For a conservative mother, Miley's reputation is not exactly ideal.

"It's a big concern because she sees what Miley stands for: the drugs, the promiscuity," the source said. "She thinks Miley is bad news. She is very concerned about the influence this could have on Patrick."
