Colombia will look to sustain their winning run when they collide with Slovenia in an international friendly match on Tuesday at Stozice Stadium in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Colombia has now won three straight friendlies, including a thrilling 2-1 win against United States on Friday at Craven Cottage in England. They fell behind early in the match after Team USA striker Jozy Altidore scored on a penalty, but Carlos Bacca and Teofilo Gutierrez scored for Colombia in the 60th and 87th minute respectively.

Colombia coach Jose Pekerman liked what he saw from his squad against Team USA and he is hoping that they will sustain their momentum as they continue their build up for upcoming major tournaments.

"We went behind early on but I am pleased with how my team responded," Pekerman said after the win against United States via Sportal. "My players never gave up and fought until the end to get the win. We are on the right path."

Colombia, who won against El Salvador and Canada in friendly matches last month, will rely on Bacca and star striker James Rodriguez again. Bacca has been on target this season as he has already scored seven goals in 11 Spanish La Liga matches for Sevilla, while Rodriguez has netted six goals in all competitions for Real Madrid.

Star striker Radamel Falcao will not play for the team again due to a muscular injury. Pekerman said that the Manchester United star is in optimal condition, but they don't want to take a risk on Tuesday.

"There is no doubt he is in optimal condition," Pekerman told the Daily Mail, referring to Falcao. "He's recovered very successfully. He has done everything perfectly. This is a small muscular injury. It is different to the knee injury before the World Cup."

On the other hand, Slovenia will look to bounce back from a disappointing 3-1 loss against England on Saturday, which snapped their two straight victories.

Slovenia went ahead, 1-0, in the 57th minute of the match off a John Henderson own goal, but Wayne Rooney scored an equalizer in the 59th minute and Danny Welbeck scored twice to lead England to a convincing win.
