Barbi Benton, a  former playmate and the former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner, recently revealed to the Daily Mail that she witnessed Bill Cosby frequent the Playboy mansion to visit his lover while Cosby's wife, Camille was at home pregnant with their third child.

Benton-who is now 64-revealed that Cosby visited the Playboy mansion "nearly every Friday and Sunday," back when she was playmate in the 60's to visit his alleged lover whose name Benton chose not to disclose.

'I didn't know whether he was married or not," said about Bill Cosby. "I was 18 I wasn't about to ask him. It was unusual for a family man to be at the Mansion - especially as regularly as Cosby was."

Though she found it unusual that Cosby often visited the mansion, she insists that she did not hear any allegations that Cosby was a serial rapist from the other playmates at the time.

However, she did add that the mansion garnered a reputation for being the place where celebrities could meet other celebrities and interact with other girls and playmates.

"The girls were usually Playmates or their friends, all of them beautiful, often actresses. They were usually available, but not what I would call loose," Benton recalled.

'It was not a place that people came necessarily to have sex,' she added. 'Everybody always got a free dinner and many people would just come for a meal and movie - Friday night was always movie night. Hef would never charge anyone."

The Daily Mail reports that Cosby's alleged lover starred in the country-themed TV variety show 'Hee Haw,' and went on to appear in four nude spreads in Playboy.

While Benton describes the Playboy mansion as an opportune place for promiscuity, she insists that Hefner-who Cosby once considered to be his best friend- was unaware that Cosby allegedly raped many playmates.

The Hollywood Reporter released a recent statement by Hefner who describes the Cosby rape allegations as "saddening."

"Bill Cosby has been a good friend for many years and the mere thought of these allegations is truly saddening," he said. "I would never tolerate this kind of behavior, regardless of who was involved."
