It's every new mother's dilemma to get back in shape. For reality TV star Kim Kardashian, the problem has a perfect solution that's working oh so sexily so far. Showing a trim figure while out in public recently, the doting mom of North West credits the Atkins Diet, her personal trainer and her gym sessions in improving her curves, according to the Hollywood Gossip.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has been attracting a lot more attention lately for the remarkable progress she has had in getting her bombshell figure back. While pregnant with North, Kim's has gained considerable weight and has been slammed by the media and by the public for her pregnancy weight gain. Speculations and criticisms about her weight gain grew uncontrollably ludicrous that In April, Kardashian has been rumoured to have gained 65 pounds when she only added 23 pounds onto her pre-baby weight, reports Perez Hilton.

Now that Kim K. is back to her svelte, sexy self critics and Kardashian haters could only eat their hearts out, and probably try the Atkins Diet too, if they need it.

The Atkins Diet follows a low-carbohydrate formula for weight loss. In their website, Atkins International lists four phases of the diet. Developed by Dr. Robert Atkins, the program discourages the inclusion of carbs in meals, but also encourages dieters to enjoy food by not being overly-obsessed with counting calories.

Other popular names that swear to the effectiveness of the Atkins Diet include Sharon Osbourne,   Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore and Catherine Zeta-Jones, according to E!Online.

When one of Kim's fans asked her on Twitter about her impressive weight loss, she said, "I've actually been doing the Atkins diet & luv it," according to the NY Daily News.

Fans need not worry about how Kim's weight loss might affect baby North, tough. Her rep has stated that Kim has been "eating lots of lean proteins, healthy fats like nuts and avocado, carbs, fruits, veggies and cheese. She wanted to be a healthy, nursing mom and not toxify her milk with her diet or lose weight too quickly. She's been doing Atkins since her doctor approved it at the end of June," reports Hollywood Gossip.
