Though Mayrín Villanueva gets some of the most entertaining plot lines on "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo," the actress said it is not that fun.

In an interview with Notimex, the actress said though she is happy with how the telenovela has been received, she believes playing the villainous Isabela is a challenge, according to Diario Basta.

"I think those who say the villain has more fun is mistaken," she said. "They are the ones who suffer most, and that's how I see it now that I am on this side."

Villanueva can sympathize with the villain. She said not only are they always suffering, they also don't get the man they love, which she said was "not fun for any human being."

The actress is grateful people are able to distinguish her from her character.

She explains people are kind to her on the street, even children. Younger viewers may complain about Isabela's actions, but they are still sweet to her.

"They say I am evil, but they give me hugs, so that comforts me, because at the end, it's just a character that I play," she said.

Recently, producer Juan Osorio teased the ending of the telenovela.

According to Informador, Osorio is looking to having a musical-filled finale that will be "unexpected."

For Christmas, the show had a special online-only episode. The cast was both in and out of character. Jorge Salinas, who portrays Fernando Lascurain, showed a much more playful side.

He further proved he was excited about the special after explaining how important it was.

"We are doing some very nice for the public, something that came from the producer's heart," Salinas said, according to TV Notas. "It's going to be very lovely, it's for the whole family; I'm very happy."
