A teen battling a tough disease is now hanging out with cheerleaders and finding his own likeness in "NBA 2K15."

2K Sports made Matt Simon a very happy kid. Simon is battling a rare disease and is a big fan of "NBA 2K15."

"NBA 2K15" and 2K Sports and their Dream Factory Program decided to give Simon a chance to get the full 2K Sports experience.

The game's employees and developers got Simon all setup with all the sensors needed to capture his movements and likeness. His face was scanned into the game using the facial scanners as well.

In addition, Simon will be added to the free agent player pool in the game. That means if you want to add him to your team, all you have to do is pick him up from the free agent section.

Simon is a 66 rated player. In the screen shot, NBA 2K15 has him at 6'8" and 210 pounds. He is available at both small forward and shooting guard.

Besides getting the rare chance to tell his friends, "hey, I am in a video game," Simon was given the red carpet treatment when he was at 2K Sports. Ronnie Singh (Ronnie2K) reported that a date for Simon's prom was secured and he was able to hangout with the Golden State Warrior cheerleaders.

If you want to add Simon to your team, you must have the latest roster update and your console must be connected to the Internet.

The article posted by Bleacher Report also gives fans of the game a real picture of Ronnie2K, instead of a cartoon. Ronnie2K is big on Twitter. He is known as the game's social media manager.

Monday, Ronnie2K re-tweeted a deal for shoes in the game. It said for the next 12 hours (until midnight central time), all shoes will be 75 percent off in the MyPLAYER store.
