In a recent interview with E! News, "Dancing With the Stars" executive producer Rob Wade revealed that veteran "DWTS" judge Len Goodman will be returning to the show indefinitely despite previous reports that the U.K. native would be leaving after Season 20.

Last month, Goodman sat down with Digital Spy to announce his decision to leave "DWTS" after Season 20 because traveling back and forth from the U.K. to the U.S. proved to be too much for him. He explained that he would continue with his U.K. show ''Strictly Come Dancing" and leave "DWTS" behind.

"I've got my wife, I've got my son, my mother is still alive and she's in hospital -- I've had virtually no time to go and visit her," he explained. "So, I just need a bit of time off to get on with a normal life. And it was either 'Strictly' went or the American one went or the tour went. ... I'm doing the spring one when I go out there. ... And that's going to be my last one."

Although Wade acknowledged that Goodman's age and time spent away from his family were reasons why Goodman first considered leaving, it now seems that the 70-year-old judge has since had a change of heart and has come to a compromise with "DWTS" execs. Following the end Season 20, Goodman might appear for only half of Season 21 so that he can spend more time in the U.K. with his family, Wade said.

"The truth is there is still a chance that Len will be around for [Season] 21, either as a part of, a small part, a big part or a whole part of the season," he explained. "I don't know how we'd use him, but he's very open to it. I spoke to Len two days ago."

Wade added that Goodman agreed to come back full-time on the show for Season 22.

"And then for Season 22, the spring, he's very up for coming back. And if we can come to an agreement, he absolutely wants to come back," Wade said.

Fans can expect to see other "DWTS" veterans coming back to the show as well, Wade said, naming Julianne Hough and Erin Andrews as cast members that are set to return to the ABC hit series.
