A few of the performers have already been announced, but more should be revealed soon.

Ricky Martin, Pitbull, Chiquis Rivera, Gerardo Ortiz, Gente de Zona and Farruko have so far been confirmed.

Chiquis and her late mother, Jenni Rivera, were both nominated for female artist of the year under the Mexican regional genre.

Chiquis excitedly wrote about her nomination on her Instagram account.

"It's a great honor to be nominated for the first time for a #PremioLoNuestro," she said via Instagram with a picture of her and Jenni. "But I feel even prouder to be nominated alongside my Ma."

Another person who felt honored to be nominated for the award show was Luis Coronel.

The 18-year-old singer is now being nominated alongside some of his favorite artists.

"For me it's shocking to know that I am nominated alongside Gerardo Ortiz and other artists for Premios Lo Nuestro," he said in an interview with "El Gordo y La Flaca." "I never imagined I'd be here at 18. I remember always seeing the show on TV with my mom, seeing all the artists."

Enrique Iglesias is likely to go home with at least on award, as the Spanish singer is nominated for 10 categories.
