With the LG Nexus 5 recently announced to have the much talked about Android KitKat 4.4, the latest Samsung Galaxy S5 release date and feature rumors suddenly include the same OS.

IBTimes Australia is one of the first online publications who wrote about the main specs that the S5 fans can expect to come out with brought about by the Korean tech giant.

First off, it is expected that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will have features that will show a good mix of the best of what Android and Samsung can offer. As everyone awaits the S5 release, Samsung still has enough time to figure out how the Android 4.4 KitKat will blend with the Galaxy design.

The other rumored specs include the possible RAM of up to 4GB which is most likely to happen since their latest Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is packed with a huge 3GB RAM. Samsung is also making sure that they will come up with a faster processing chip to keep up with what the latest iPhone is offering.

Then of course the other rumored S5 specs include a display made out of flexible materials like the Galaxy Round or the LG G Flex, along with a much better 16MP rear camera. IBTimes India also mentioned that the S5 may possibly have an eye scan technology to compete with the fingerprint scan of the iPhone 5S.

Will the Samsung Galaxy S5 Take The Back Seat?

Despite all the good and positive specs coming around, Design Trend reported that Samsung might put all their focus on their tablets instead of their smart phones by next year. The possible reason for this is to avoid the oversaturated market that smart phones are filling up these days.

Do you think it is a good move for Samsung to put all their promotional and marketing efforts to their tablets like the Galaxy Note 12.2 rather than their new smart phones like the Samsung Galaxy S5 in 2014?
