Hispanicize 2015 announced Wednesday that Univision Communications Inc. will provide multimedia coverage of the sixth annual Hispanicize Week 2015 that kicks off in March.

The Miami, Florida event offers a national platform for Latinos to launch new products, services, partnerships, celebrity endorsements, films and more. It is the largest event this year for Latin American professionals in entertainment, marketing, journalism, blogging and technology entrepreneurship.

Univision will not only feature content from Hispanicize 2015, but talent from the network's shows will also co-emcee key events and act as social media correspondents.

Alberto Ciurana, Univision's President of Programming and Content, said the company's goal is "to provide a Univision branded experience everywhere our audience is -- whether it's on television or digital platforms."

Co-chaired by Christian MartinezFacebook's U.S. Hispanic Head of Sales, and award-winning actor Luis Guzmán, Hispanicize 2015 will feature many companies, including Hispanicize Wire, the Hispanic PR Blog, the Latina Mom Bloggers network and Being Latino. Thousands of Latino business professionals are expected to participate in the five-day event.

Attendees can expect to see top Hispanic brand leaders from Fortune 500 companies like Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Toyota, Google and more.

The event's agenda:

  • Multi-award winning duo Chino y Nacho will headline Hispanicize 2015's First Annual Tecla Social Media Awards.
  • Guzmán will be named recipient of the Hispanicize 2015 Latinovator Award.
  • Award-winning Latino journalists as well as the current and former presidents of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) are among the speakers that will headline the bilingual Hispanic Journalists Showcase.
  • The Hispanic Journalists Showcase is being curated by chair Hugo Balta, past president of the NAHJ and Senior Director of Multicultural Content at ESPN.

"This special showcase addresses the most pressing topics, trends and trainings Latino journalists need to succeed in today's quickly changing digital and multicultural world," said Balta. "We're confident the sessions we've created for journalists will engage and empower them in a very meaningful way."

The event will close with a night concert featuring Gente de Zona and Danay Suarez at The Fillmore Miami Beach on Friday, March 20, produced by global live concert leader Live Nation and Hispanicize 2015.
