Lady Gaga finally released her highly anticipated third studio album "Artpop" on Monday, Nov. 11. The singer celebrated her new album release, debuting the world's first flying dress over the weekend.

Gaga's album release party named "Artrave" took place at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York City. The event was filled with unique statues designed by Jeff Koons, who also designed the pop star's new album artwork. Sporting a platinum blonde bobbed wig and high-knee glittery boots, along with a jointed bodysuit, futuristic stockings and PVC paneling, Lady Gaga played the matching white piano, lifting her left leg and placing it on top of the piano.

The "Applause" singer continued to perform several tracks from "Artpop," and she then changed into a black PVC cat suit with a feather hat for the second segment of the live performance.

Just a few days ago, it was announced that Lady Gaga would be the first recording artist ever to perform in outer space in early 2015. Appropriate for her upcoming performance in space, the pop star stepped out onstage in white astronauts suit before stripping down to a black bodysuit with white sparkly knee-high boots and a protective helmet.

"I want to introduce you to Volnatis," the singer enthusiastically told the crowd during the special show. "I wanted to make today about something even more important to me, and that something is the youth of the world... and although she [Volantis] is a vehicle, she is essentially a metaphor for me. I will be a vehicle of their voices and the voices of my fans."

Lady Gaga continued to step into the dress, and she was lifted off the ground. Designed by TechHaus - the technical branch of the Haus of Gaga, the modern dress feature white curvy body mold made of fiber optics, which had six giant fans in a hexagonal shape. Gaga worked with engineer Benjamin and designer Nancy to create the high-concept invention over two years.
